Task Force member and Governor of the Central Bank of Kenya Patrick Njoroge undertook an intensive series of consultations with Danish officials to brief them on the Task Force and share best practices between Denmark and Kenya. The event was co-hosted by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Copenhagen Fintech Lab and the Green Digital Finance Alliance.
Dr. Njoroge spoke to an audience of nearly 200 impact investors, fintech entrepreneurs, civil society/NGO representatives, and fellow regulators. He highlighted the Task Force’s emphasis on using digitalization to mobilize domestic savings and offered the experience of Kenya’s M-Akiba.
